    Is there something that keeps you sane? For years, running has been that activity for me. When I was younger, I even broke up with long term boyfriends because they could not respect how important running was to me, and were constantly asking me to give up my runs in order to do other things. Running is a way of life. For some of you, you could replace “running” with “gardening” or “planning with stickers” or “swimming” etc. Those “way of life” activities are called self care.     First, let me say, we are so blessed to have such phenomenal neighbors! We are moving from a cookie cutter neighborhood with an HOA, so naturally, we do not have anything that you would need to start a farmstead. God has blesses us with the ability to move onto a lot smack between my sister-in-law, and my niece who have already started their country journey. Other than our driveway, our property right now is a blank slate. But since it has been farm land, there were some pretty significant ruts that needed smoothed out before it could be used as pasture.     One of the reasons I decided to start this blog at this particular time of life, is because after years of dreaming, we are FINALLY in the process of moving “out to the country.” We have put our house on the market *God willing* We will close at the end of this month, and transition smoothly into the new house!
